Adult acne still?!!!?

What are some good acne treatments for me as an African American female who has acne in the chin, and mouth area? I am left with dark black splotches all over from the acne flare ups. My doc has tried Retina A, tetracycline, birth control pills, and differen gel. I have also tried nuetrogena products, ceta phil, skin bleacher, coco butter and it is still appearing and now worse than ever since I got my tubes tied. I am 30 yrs old will this acne ever end? It is very embarrasing and makes me want to stay hidden. People always say I am a cute girl and then suggest good acne doc or medicine|||I am 30 yrs old and still have acne on lower face, chin and forehead. I was using all different kinds of cleansers and benzole peroxide 5%. On vacation over Christmas I forgot all this medicine. By the time I got home it had cleared up. I%26#039;m now back to teaching and it has come back some but, I no longer use those items. I just use antibacterial soap and a louffa sponge for the face (usually found in the beauty area with face cleansers). I also gave up on %26quot;covering%26quot; it up with make-up as it seemed to make it stand out more.|||I would recommned clearpores.|||Pl.try accutane.

Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne鈥?prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symptoms and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it鈥檚 advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:
