I have it, never had a pimple problem as a teen. my aunt said she has adult acne as well, and the dermatoligist said the best stuff to get is Cetaphil...anyone have experiences with it? or any other non-prescription suggestions?|||I have the same problem, and so does my daughter, so I got some cetaphil thinking since it is gentle and all it would be good for both of us. I havent seen any improvment at all in using it for a month. I now have started using an oil cleansing method and seeing some relief...who would think in my 30%26#039;s Id be dealing with this!|||I%26#039;m 28 and had moderately bad in my late teens. Then for like 5 years nothing, I was completely clear. About a year ago, I started getting pimples again. I tried everything, Proactiv, special detox diets, anything to rid myself of it. Then I went to the dermatologist and he gave me a couple tips.
1. Stop using my Mach 4 and start using a 2 blade cheaper razor. He said that the closer shave you get, the more irriation you%26#039;ll have.
2. Less is more. Don%26#039;t try and use so many products that all promise the same thing. You don%26#039;t really need much.
3. He told me to use Cetaphil. I%26#039;ve heard of it, but never thought of buying it before. Well I got the face wash stuff and the lotion, and it worked as well as anything I had ever tried. I had never used moisturizer/lotion an maintained clear skin. The stuff works wonders...hope it works that well for you.
Good luck. Oh, get the smallest bottle you can first...in case it doesn%26#039;t work for you. Usually something will work for me for about a month and then stop working. Cetaphil is the only thing that has continuously worked over a long period of time.|||Acne can be embarrassing at the best of times. I would try going into a site called Epinions.com and find out what users are saying about various products. Good hygene which involves regular bathing helps a lot. Good internal health is a major contributor to healthy skin. Consider going to see a wholistic health professional, they have some great supplements. Try and stay away from the junk foods. Below is an article I found that might be of interest to you.|||It%26#039;s nothing horrible. This happens to many, especially younger adult (under 30). Try getting a daily anti-acne cream that will clean your skin. Also, your skin is probably very oily, so if you want it to be better, use a drying cream aswell.
Or go see a beautician and ask her about it. =)
Good luck with getting rid of your acne =)|||I my self had adult acne and hated it!! I was been using Arbonne Clear Advantage and it cleared up my skin!! I have now moved to a different line with Arbonne and my skin is still clear! I still get a zit time to time but that is my hormones! I have been trying to balance my hormone as well but that has not been as easy!|||Hey kg22,
I used to have horrible acne I can%26#039;t even tell you how bad it was. I found http://www.my-info-portal.com/acnefree.h鈥?/a> and bought it for like $40 and it seriously cured my acne.
Like seriously IT IS GONE. I don%26#039;t even have ONE LITTLE PIMPLE!!!!
After using this I can%26#039;t believe it%26#039;s only $40 and after you use it you won%26#039;t either haha
The trips I took to the dermatologist cost me WAY more than that lol and the CRAP they gave me just made my acne worse~!!!!! uhggg... lol
Oh and it also guarantees it will cure your acne in 3 days or your money back.
Anyway I hope this helps!
Love Samantha
